X FACTOR star Janet Devlin couldn’t hide her delight at getting a surprise photo with Hollywood heartthrob Liam Hemsworth after her performance.

The singer, who is in Australia to support actor Russell Crowe on his Indoor Garden Party tour, had no idea Liam was in the audience when she performed at a venue in Byron Bay.

She posed for a cozy selfie with the younger brother of Marvel superstar Chris Hemsworth after the show and admitted she was glad she didn’t know he was there beforehand.

She shared the snap on Instagram and wrote: “So glad no one told me @liamhemsworth was in the audience. My already nervous self would have been even more of a wreck! Apparently he enjoyed the songs! Or he is just a very polite man Haha.”

Her viewers couldn’t believe the chance encounter, although the reaction was mixed.

Liam’s ex Miley Cyrus’ recent mega hit Flowers shone a spotlight on his alleged infidelities while they were together.

And that led some of Janet’s fans to take aim at him.

One said, “Remember, you don’t need one of his flowers.”

Another posted: “But but but Miley.”

Others thought they would make a good couple.

“Holy s**t that’s amazing!! You look really cute together too,” one said.

In total, Janet will perform 18 shows with Gladiator star Russell, including a performance at the Sydney Opera House.

She rose to fame on the X Factor in 2011 as a shy young singer, singing a mesmerizing version of Your Song.

These days, Janet is a far cry from the barefoot 16-year-old with curly red hair.

The 28-year-old was hand-picked Russell Crowe to help open his concerts.

Janet told her followers that they met through Ed Sheeran and the rest is history.

She explained: “There are many ways to experience Australia for the first time, but I’m pretty sure this was by far the best way.

“Thank you @russellcrowe for inviting me to open your shows and for opening my eyes to such a beautiful country with such wonderful people!

“Not to mention your generosity! What a whirlwind of an experience.

“Yes, I had to get a picture because I won’t even believe it myself when I wake up tomorrow. “

The singer added: “(Also thanks to @teddysphotos for accidentally making this happen! Haha).”

In the ten years since appearing on X Factor, Janet has not only undergone a physical transformation going from redhead to blonde, but has also been on a journey within herself.

She became a mental health advocate and TikTok favorite thanks to her no-holds-barred recordings.
