Who is Patrick Grant from The Great British Sewing Bee?
Patrick James Grant, born 1 May 1972, is a Fashion designer and businessman from Scotland.
He is the director of bespoke tailors Norton & Sons of Savile Row, E. Tautz & Sons, Community Clothing, and textile manufacturer Cookson & Clegg.
Since 2013, he has been a judge on the reality series The Great British Sewing Bee, which first aired on BBC Two before moving to BBC One in 2020.
After taking over Norton & Sons in 2005, Grant was credited with rejuvenating the once-flying business.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Patrick campaigned for people to make masks at home.
He also used one of his businesses, the Community Clothing label, which is manufactured at Cookson & Clegg’s factory in Blackburn, to make PPE in the form of scrubs and anti-viral snoods for the NHS.
In 2018, Patrick was named co-chair of the Prince of Wales’ charity Future Textiles, an organization working to create jobs in the UK’s garment industry.
Then in 2023 he presented a BBC documentary called Coronation Tailors: Fit for a King.
The one-off special went behind the scenes at the family business to create thousands of bespoke ceremonial uniforms for the King’s coronation.
