Who is Helen Chamberlain?
Helen Marie Chamberlain is an English television presenter born on 2 April 1967.
She worked as a holiday camp entertainer before being discovered at Chessington by a producer for Nickelodeon, where she began presenting in 1994.
She began presenting Soccer AM on Sky Sports’ Saturday morning program in 1995.
She also modeled for Euro 2004 in Trafalgar Square and appeared in a shoot for the May 2004 issue of Penthouse.
What TV shows was Helen Chamberlain in?
Helen has presented numerous programs for Sky and Sky One, including Premier League All Stars & The All Sports Show, The Match and International King of Sports, for Channel 5.
She was also a guest on two former Channel 4 breakfast shows – The Big Breakfast and RI:SE.
Since leaving Soccer AM, Chamberlain has hosted a host of darts events, including Sunday’s Women’s World Cup and the inaugural World Seniors Darts Championship.
When did Helen leave Soccer AM?
Helen joined the football program in 1995 Tim Lovejoy and the show gained a huge following among football fans on Saturday mornings.
But since Lovejoy left in 2007, the show’s ratings have declined and it was then shown for 90 minutes when it ran for four hours.
Chamberlain then left the show in 2017 after 22 years on the couch – as the show is being revived for the new season.
She was replaced by comedian Lloyd Griffith, and former Hull and Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard.
The news was shared by Soccer AM in a tweet which read: “Goodbye and thank you to Mrs. Soccer AM. This place won’t be the same without you.”
In 2020, Chamberlain gave insight into her life on her farm after hosting the program for 22 years.
She told the Athletic: “I sat on that bench almost half my life. I was there for almost 23 years.
“That’s a long time to have any job, never mind a job in broadcasting. I had the farm to look after.
“I wanted to save more dogs and breed sheep and chickens. So I no longer had time for Saturday mornings.”

Helen is not married and has no children.
She was previously linked to darts player James Wade from 2008 to 2010.
After rumors began to circulate that the pair were dating, he said in 2008: “Some of the things I’ve read aren’t entirely true, but we all have good friends, whether they’re male or female.
“Helen loves darts – maybe that’s why we get on so well – but people put two and two together and make seven.
“If they made five, they might be closer to the truth, or they might be a million miles away… who knows?”
