Who was Paul Cattermole?

Paul Cattermole, born on 7 March 1977, in St Albans, Hertfordshire, was best known as a member of the hit pop group S Club 7.

He was one of the original members of the group when it was formed in 1998.

Before joining the unforgettable musical group, Paul spent time with the National Youth Music Theater and appeared in Pendragon (1994).

A man of many talents, Paul then went on to study theater and acting at Mountview Drama School.

When did Paul Cattermole die?

On Friday, April 7, 2023, the tragic news was announced that Paul had been found dead at his home.

A statement from Paul’s family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.

“Paul was found yesterday, 6 April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later in the afternoon.

“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police have confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.

“Paul’s family, friends and fellow S Club members request privacy at this time.”

Dorset Coroner’s Service has now completed an inquest into Paul’s sad passing, and has revealed his cause of death for the first time.

A spokesman told The Sun: “I can confirm that Mr Cattermole died of natural causes and our inquiries have been concluded.”

It means no inquest will be held into the death of the Reach, Don’t Stop Movin’ and Bring It All Back hitmaker.

Dorset Police, who found his body, claimed their inquiries remained “ongoing”.
