What is a designer vagina?

A designer vagina is one of the fastest growing cosmetic surgery trends around the world popularized by celebrities.

The procedure’s actual name is labiaplasty, which changes the size of the labia minora.

This can be for both aesthetic reasons or for practical reasons, such as, the extra tissue causing discomfort during sex or exercise.

This type of surgery should not be done on girls younger than 18 because the labia develop after puberty into early adulthood.

It involves shortening or reshaping the vaginal lips with the unwanted tissue being cut away with a scalpel or laser.

The loose edge can then be stitched with fine, soluble stitches.

From start to finish, the surgery takes about one to two hours and patients can usually go home the same day.

What is vaginoplasty and labiaplasty?

There are two different types of surgery when it comes to designer vaginas.

Labiaplasty reduces the size of the labia minora – which is the skin on either side of the vaginal opening.

Vaginoplasty is designed to reduce the size of the actual vagina, usually to make it tighter.

What is a non-surgical vagina facelift?

If you don’t want to go under the knife, there is the option of a non-surgical vagina facelift.

This involves a variety of different treatments from laser surgery to fillers and radio frequency treatment.

The idea is to cause collagen tightening downward, usually after the area has weakened from birth, age or hormone changes.

Mum-of-five Lindsay Haitt told This Morning the treatment had “changed her life”.

She said: “My confidence came back, my sex drive came back, I just felt great.

“I felt like a virgin again. It just sharpened everything, it made it neat like you were before.”
