UK rapper Slowthai charged with two counts of raping woman in Oxford
BRITISH rapper Slowthai appeared in court today on charges of raping a woman.
The Grammy-nominated star, 28, is accused of assaulting the woman twice in Oxford in September 2021.
slowthai – real name Tyron Frampton – appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today via video link.
The musician spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
Both charges relate to the same alleged victim, JPs were told.

The rapper, who hails from Northampton, burst onto the music scene in 2019 with the album Nothing Great About Britain.
He gained a loyal following thanks to his lyrics Brexit and the then Prime Minister Theresa May.
