TINA Turner’s last photo showed her in sweatpants at home in Switzerland reflecting on her life.

The rock ‘n’ roll legend has died at the age of 83, a post on her Instagram account revealed on Wednesday.

“I am so excited to share this movie with you – seeing the concert scenes made me relive some of the proudest moments of my life. I simply had to sing along and dance in my living room,” she wrote.

She had her hands in fists as she sported a make-up free look while wearing a black sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Tina, who rose to prominence during the 1960s as the lead singer of the st louis duo Ike & Tina Turner, died Wednesday, a representative confirmed.

“Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness at her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland,” the rep said in a statement.

“With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.

“Tina Turner was born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939, in Nutbush, Tennessee, USA. She became famous in the late 60s as the singer of the group Ike & Tina Turner Revue, but later she became successful worldwide as ‘ a solo artist,” they continued.

“With her music and her inexhaustible vitality, Tina Turner thrilled millions of fans and inspired many artists of subsequent generations.

“Global hits like ‘What’s Love Got To Do With it’, ‘Private Dancer’ and ‘The Best’, more than 180 million albums sold, 12 Grammy Awards, and more than three decades of sold-out stadium tours around the world are just part of her unique legacy.”

The representative added: “There will be a private funeral ceremony attended by close friends and family.”

Roger Davies, Tina Turner’s manager of 30 years, also paid tribute to the star, saying: “Tina was a unique and remarkable force of nature with her strength, incredible energy and immense talent.”

“From the first day I met her in 1980, she completely believed in herself when few others did at the time.”

“It has been a privilege and an honor to be her good friend as well as her manager for over 30 years,” Davies continued.

Tina has also been active on social media, and her Instagram page, which has more than 954,000 followers, also issued an official Postal at her passing.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner,” reads the report.

“With her music and her boundless passion for life, she has enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow.”

The post continued: “Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music.”

“All our deepest sympathy goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you very much.”

HEALTH PROBLEMS

While a cause of death has not yet been released, Tina opened up about her health issues. She battled bowel cancer, had a stroke and had kidney problems.

“My kidneys are the victims of not realizing that my high blood pressure should have been treated with conventional medicine,” she said. her last post.

“I put myself in great danger by refusing to face the reality that I needed daily, lifelong therapy with medication.

“For too long I believed that my body was an untouchable and indestructible bastion.

“I am therefore delighted to be able to support a new international campaign for kidney health.
