The Weekend Celebrates Debut Album Anniversary With Toy Collection – celebritiestalks
Entertainment, Fashion, music and collectible art toy company Superplastic has collaborated with Grammy-winning musician The Weeknd on a limited-edition toy collection celebrating the 10th anniversary of the singer’s debut album “Kiss Land.”
The collection, which was released on Sunday, comes exactly 10 years after The Weeknd released “Kiss Land,” and will be available for purchase on superplastic.co, theweeknd.com and at Superplastic’s store in New York City. The price point for the figures is $125.

The collection, titled Kiss Land after the album, draws inspiration from the desolate and atmospheric setting portrayed in The Weeknd’s moody lyrics and mascot, Super Fantastic Red Panda Cat.
“It’s surreal to look back on 10 years since the release of Kiss Land and to see the lasting impact this album has had on me as an artist and how it continues to be received by my fans,” The Weekend said in a statement. “The Kiss Land collection is in recognition of this journey we are on together, and I am grateful to Superplastic for helping to bring this vision to life and celebrate this special moment.”

The collection with Superplastic features the brand’s signature SuperJanky design, which includes three platinum vinyl figures in green, black and red, all accessorized with removable VR goggles covering 3D eyes.
The green colorway is available for stand-alone purchase, while the black and red colorways are available to purchase as blind boxes. When purchasing a blind box, it’s possible to receive either the red or black colorway, but this won’t be revealed until opening. The red colorway is the most difficult to obtain of the set. The collection marks Superplastic’s first eight-inch blind box.
