Taylor Swift and Matty Healy Were Seen Leaving a Recording Studio Together
Swifties keep calm. Taylor Swift and her (probable) new boyfriend Matty Healy were spotted leaving a recording studio in New York City, which may or may not mean a new collaboration is on the way.
Photos show Swift and Healy leaving New York’s iconic Electric Lady Studios together in the early hours of May 16. Both musicians dressed casually, Swift in a purple NYU sweatshirt and black miniskirt and Healy in a simple black top and pants. Can the pair mix a little business with pleasure? Have they worked together in the studio on new music?

It’s not like it would be a big stretch. In fact, in 2022, Healy confirmed that his band The 1975 had actually collaborated with Swift on a track for her midnights album, but the song didn’t make the final cut. “We actually worked on it a little bit, but then the version of it never came out,” Healy said KROQ’s Klein/Ally Show for Audacy’s DTS Sound Space. “It was for reasons that should not be criticized. She is amazing,” he added. It’s also worth noting that both Swift and Healy share a friend and producing partner in Jack Antonoff, who worked closely with Swift on midnights and with The 1975 op Being funny in a foreign language.
Now that Swift and Healy are dating — or at least going on several dates in New York City — what could be more natural than them collaborating on new music together? Maybe it’s just my conspiracy theory brain at work, but Taylor Swift has never been afraid to bring her personal life into her work.
