Sofia Coppola & Cailee Spaeny Don Chanel & Miu Miu for ‘Priscilla’ – celebritiestalks
Sofia Coppola and Cailee Spaeny kept busy at the Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy on Monday, attending a photo call and the premiere of Coppola’s new film, “Priscilla.”
At the photo call, Coppola opted for a navy linen set by Loro Piana, which consisted of a button-up with military-inspired epaulets and flap pocket details, as well as a pair of pleated trousers. The writer and director accessorized with gold jewelry, a woven belt and platform sandals.

Meanwhile, Spaeny sported a botanical print off-the-shoulder midi dress from Rodarte’s pre-fall 2023 collection, which featured a pink rosette affixed to the bodice. The actress also added on a pair of pink satin pumps and an emerald green clutch.
Hours later, the duo dressed to the nines to attend the red carpet premiere of “Priscilla.” Coppola changed into a black Chanel couture shift featuring a chiffon capelet.

Spaeny channeled retro glamour in a Miu Miu column gown with a bodice cutout and pearlescent fringe. She completed her look with Bulgari jewels including diamond drop earrings and a wrap bracelet.
For both events, Spaeny was styled by Nicky Yates, who also counts Naomi Ackie, Claire Foy and “Bridgerton” star Phoebe Dynevor as clients.
A24 revealed the first teaser trailer for “Priscilla” in June. The 45-second snippet opens with a young Priscilla Presley (Spaeny) as she prepares for her wedding day. Coppola’s latest project is based on Presley’s 1985 autobiography “Elvis and Me.” Jacob Elordi of “Euphoria” fame plays the king of rock ‘n’ roll.
While the ongoing Writers snd Screen Actors Guild strikes have put most productions and publicity on pause, A24 was given the go-ahead to resume operations as the indie company agreed to adhere to actors’ and writers’ demands.
The 80th annual Venice International Film Festival will run through Saturday in Lido, a barrier island situated in the Venetian Lagoon. Organized by La Biennale di Venezia and directed by Alberto Barbera, the festival is officially recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers Association. Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla” and Bradley Cooper’s “Maestro” are among the films selected to premiere at Venice this year.
