Fashion brand Shein has launched a collection of clothes and accessories for hamsters, with mini-sized items suitable for the furry creatures such as sunglasses, hats and sweaters.

The online retailer, based in China, sells items such as a shopping cart for them to sleep in, a feed chair for meal times, and a banana hammock for relaxing

A six-part set includes toys such as a wooden dumbbell, bell roll, carrot toy and rattan ball.

Prices for these items on the site, known for their affordability, vary, with a cage for as much as $189.99 and a tub for just $3.80.

Twitter users expressed confusion over the unusual pet products.

“Shein has officially lost it,” @piercerkenzie said. “Don’t buy hamster glasses from Shein,” Added @sjwalrus.

Others, however, embraced them.

“Not proud to admit I looked up hamster clothes on Shein,” said @michefrench.
