Philipp Plein celebrated the opening of his third Las Vegas boutique on Thursday alongside Nicolas Cage. The Academy Award-winning actor wore a black T-shirt, black pants and a crocodile skin jacket emblazoned with a tiger face on the back for the occasion. His full look was created by Plein.

The new boutique, located at The Shops at Crystals, is decorated with custom Philipp Plein home fixtures and white marble as its primary interior design elements. Other interior design features include contemporary lounge chairs, marble podiums, chrome tables and glass tables.

In addition to Plein’s ready-to-wear collections, including Modern Renaissance and Thousand and One Nights, the store also offers eyewear and timepieces — the latter is available to purchase through a private client experience.

The Modern Renaissance collection fuses Renaissance forms with minimalism, with notable styles including maxi and minidresses, feminine blazers and trousers. The Thousand and One Nights collection draws inspiration from both Middle Eastern and Western styles. One of the signature patterns for the collection is the paisley print, which adorns cowboy hats and biker scarves. The paisley motif was designed to look like a spray of flowers combined with a cypress tree.

Plein has been actively building his brick-and-mortar retail footprint this year. In July, he celebrated the opening of his SoHo pop-up boutique in New York City with a performance by rapper Fabolous. The Plein SoHo pop-up was converted from a previous Plein Sport store that welcomed customers to the neighborhood in February. Plein has a 10-year lease on the 1,951-square-foot space.

In addition to expanding his retail footprint, Plein also added luxury watches to his brand’s offerings, which he announced in July. The expansion into luxury watches comes after Plein’s stream of success with his Fashion watches designed and produced in partnership with Timex.
