NewJeans Dons Distressed Miniskirts and Camo for Seoul Fashion Week – celebritiestalks
NewJeans made a fashionable appearance at the Ul:kin Fashion show at Seoul Fashion Week on Tuesday, embracing the avant apocalypse trend, which went viral on TikTok in 2022 and is characterized by deconstructed pieces with asymmetric silhouettes.
Hanni wore a camouflage corset with a black ruffled miniskirt, pairing her grunge look with straight black bangs. Haerin wore white distressed jeans with a sheer mesh top layered underneath a graphic crop top.

The rest of NewJeans coordinated their 2000s-themed ensembles with chunky black boots by New Rock, Le Silla and Vetements, which featured silver-plated details.
The girl group attended the local Fashion show to view the brand’s spring 2024 collection offerings. NewJeans has been tapped as the official ambassador for this year’s Seoul Fashion Week, which will run through Saturday.

As a group, NewJeans often leans into nostalgic Y2K looks. On Aug. 3, for their first performance at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, the group wore beige-pleated miniskirts with distressed edges, adding chunky Timberland boots to the look.
Adding to their growing list of individual ambassadorships, the NewJeans group members secured a brand ambassadorship with Levi’s in March, posing in different denim styles for the brand’s spring 2023 marketing campaign.
Along with heading Seoul Fashion Week, NewJeans has been nominated for their first VMA Award. The group is up for the Group of the Year award, which nominees also include Flo, Maneskin and the Jonas Brothers.
