NewJeans is putting authenticity to the test in a new Levi’s campaign. In celebration of the brand’s 150th anniversary of its 501 jeans, the K-pop group members, who are Levi’s global brand ambassadors, showcased the power of self-expression in new photos.

The campaign shots see Hyein, Hanni, Minji, Haerin and Danielle in different styles of the 501 jeans, which according to the brand, was the original template for all other Levi’s jeans.

“It’s been so rewarding to partner with a brand that has both an incredible past and looks toward the future. This campaign encourages people to discover and express their unique style by showing the different ways you can wear Levi’s 501 jeans and really make them your own,” NewJeans said in a statement.

One campaign image showcases the NewJeans singers in casual looks, including Hanni wearing a green graphic ringer T-shirt with a light blue essentials cap and Danielle wearing the Cindy long-sleeve crop top with the brand’s Superlow shorts.

In addition to the campaign, Levi’s is launching its Tailor Shops that will offer the opportunity to further customize 501 jean styles with embroidery designs, patches, pleats and embellishments, and special embroidery designs from famed Japanese and Korean tailors.

“We are excited for our fans to explore how the collection can be customized with the Levi’s Tailor Shop. We know they can take these clothes in some really unique directions, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with,” the NewJeans statement continued.

NewJeans first starred in a Levi’s campaign in March, modeling the brand’s spring 2023 collection. The K-pop group has also secured individual brand ambassadorships with high-Fashion labels including Gucci, Burberry, Chanel, Dior and more.
