Melissa Flores, originally from the state of Michoacán, was chosen as the winner of the Mexicana Universal pageant, which took place on Saturday, September 2nd, at the Convention and Exhibition Center in Aguascalientes. Melissa will be the next representative of Mexico in Miss Universe 2023, which is scheduled to be held on November 18th in El Salvador.
