Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are never shy about their, um, appraisal to each other in public, but they have been much more tight-lipped about their possible split. Adding to the confusion is the fact that they are both at the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition launched on May 18, but walked the red carpet separately.

This is a situation that can be read in one of two ways. Since Fox was one of this year’s swimsuit cover models, MGK showing up at the event could be a sign of his support and an indication that the relationship is on the mend. Yay for love! Then again, the fact that they apparently arrived separately and didn’t pose for any red carpet photos together might mean they’re still on the rocks. Boo for sadness.
