Kim Kardashian reveals Kanye West ‘didn’t want help’ during his downward spiral in rare new comments on broken marriage
KIM Kardashian has shared more insight into her marriage to ex-husband Kanye West.
Kim, 42, was recently a guest on the podcast, On Purpose with Jay Shetty, where she discussed parenting, having a public life and finding her own happiness.

The mother of four admitted to Jay that she is in a “really good place” and the people currently in her life are “really solid.”
While she didn’t directly talk about Kanye himself, she did briefly discuss that she has different views than the people she’s had in her life.
The Hulu star said, “One thing I’ve learned is that you can’t help people who don’t want the help. You can’t force your beliefs and project them onto someone who thinks something completely different.
“It’s okay to have those different views. That’s why the world turns. But if you don’t align with the same values and morals and things at your core, then it’s okay to realize that this life is so short, and you have to go find the people who do match what you really believe in.
“That’s some of the things I’ll teach my kids when they’re looking for friends and partners and relationships. You can’t really force things on other people. You can’t expect them to be where you are, at your level.”
The SKIMS founder also explained that if a relationship doesn’t work out, “it’s not a failure,” but that if a couple is together for 10 or 15 years, it’s “so beautiful.”
THE YE DRAMA
Kim and Kanye started dating in 2011 when she flew to Paris to see his Fashion show.
On KUWTK, Kim said, “After my breakup, I felt really low and down [Kanye] said, ‘Just come to Paris and watch my Fashion show,’ he jokes that he put on this whole Fashion show just to get a date with me.
In 2013, their first child North West was born, and it was announced during Kanye’s New Year’s Eve concert in Atlantic City.
That same year, Kimye became engaged, and they married in a lavish ceremony in 2014.
The year 2020 was when things started to get rocky in their relationship when the pandemic started.
The Sun revealed that Kim and Kanye are struggling with their relationship in quarantine: “Kim and Kanye are arguing and at each other’s throats during this pandemic.
“Kim is going crazy because she’s used to being on the road. It’s also a lot of time alone with the kids for her.”
Insiders told The US Sun in the summer of 2020 that Kim won’t leave Kanye until he gets help with his mental health, but she “knew her marriage was over a long time ago.”
Just a year later, Kim ditched her $1.3 million wedding ring because she was rumored to be in touch with a divorce attorney. The divorce papers were filed in February 2021.
After much back and forth, their divorce was finalized in November 2022.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
Although the divorce was finalized, the drama between the Hulu reality star and her ex-husband was nowhere near over.
By the end of 2022, Kanye had slammed the Kardashian, threatened to gain custody of their four children and verbally attacked her ex Pete Davidson in several social media posts.
In early 2023, Kanye married Bianca Censori, who fans think looks exactly like Kim Kardashian.
The Donda rapper secretly tied the knot with Bianca, as the pair were seen sporting their opulent wedding rings.
Bianca, who is from Melbourne, Australia, is said to be a jewelry and architectural designer who has been working at Yeezy since November 2020.
It is unknown how long the newlyweds have been together, although it is thought to have been only a matter of months or even weeks.
CONTROVERSIAL KANYE
West appeared on the controversial Alex Jones show Infowars, where he said “I like Hitler” and praised the Nazi leader.
He then claimed that the Nazis were receiving negative press because of “The Jewish media.”
In the interview, he mentioned that the Nazis “did a lot of very bad things” but said that “they also did good things, we’re going to stop dissing the Nazis all the time.”
West expressed support for a man responsible for the deaths of at least six million Jewish people.
He said: “This guy who invented motorways invented the very microphone I use as a musician, but you can’t say out loud that this person has ever done anything good – and I’m done with it.
“I’m done with the classifications. Everyone has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.”
CANCELLED
West was suspended from Twitter by owner Elon Musk after he posted an image of what appeared to be The Star of David with a swastika in the middle.
This is also not the first time that West has made anti-Semitic statements, nor the first time that he has made inaccurate or offensive statements towards a group of people.
West appeared in a White Lives Matter shirt at Paris Fashion Week, and also questioned the nature of the 2020 killing of George Floyd in a series of tweets.
German sportswear brand Adidas has announced it is cutting ties with West following a series of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories the rapper posted on social media.
The French Fashion house Balenciaga also ended their partnership with him after the incidents.
London’s Madame Tussauds has removed the wax figure of West that the museum had displayed since 2015.
