Kim Kardashian ordered to ‘go away’ after she launches new Skims pop-up shop at iconic NYC landmark
KIM Kardashian has been ordered to “go away” after opening a pop-up shop at a very iconic city landmark.
This week, Kim Kardashian opened a Skims pop-up store in New York at The Channel Gardens in Rockefeller Center.
The official Rockefeller Center Instagram shared a picture of Kim behind a light blue building with the word Skims on top as well as a large waterfall.
However, many fans were upset that the 42-year-old beauty mogul had set up shop there.
“Go away,” ordered one.
“Not here in NY!!!!! And definitely not at the Rockefeller plaza, such an iconic place,” said another.
“Pass, we don’t care about her,” said a harsh critic.
“No thanks! I won’t buy anything Kardashian! I won’t support that family,” said a fourth.
A fifth wrote: “Embarrassment and disrespect to turn an iconic landmark and view into an ad.”
KIM TAKES OVER NEW YORK CITY
The pop-up shop won’t be in New York for long.
It will come to an end on May 29.
However, fans can visit the store Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
They can shop the latest pieces Kim has released on her shapewear website.
SHOW APPEARANCES TODAY
On a recent Today Show appearance, Kim discussed the upcoming season of The Kardashians.
Host Savannah Guthrie asked, “After all these years, are you ever like, ‘I guess I’m done showing everybody this part of my life.'”
The reality star replied: “When we signed up for this, we always wanted to be super open and honest and obviously there are different seasons where some people feel like they just have some boundaries and want to protect certain things and then other people want to open up. and share much more.
“I’m so blessed that there are so many of us that we can always respect each other’s space.”
Kim confessed: “This season has probably been one of my – from filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians or The Kardashians – this season has probably been my most emotional and most frustrating intern with family, which I haven’t really seen or experienced before .”
Savannah asked, “Why is that? They’re talking about some tension between you and your sister Kourtney about her wedding. Is that the source of it?”
“Yes – and we’ve been there before and we’ll always be okay. We’re always family, that’s how we’ve been brought up. But I’m also proud that everyone is really vulnerable, because I’m sure so many other families have been through similar things went.
“Maybe on different levels or experiences, but I’m proud that we’re still so open and still driven to show and share so much,” she admitted.
Savannah then asked Kim if there is an “aftermath” when she argues with her family once the episodes finally air.
“Yeah, there’s different cycles, you know you film it and we think we’re good and we make up and then you edit it and I see all the things she says about me behind my back and she sees all the things I I say about her behind her back.
“The tension rises all over again, and then you have to wait more months for the audience to see it and get everyone’s opinions. So it’s a cycle, I think I like to look at it as therapy.
“But it gets really hard and really emotional. But at the end of the day, we really love sharing our lives and I don’t see that changing anytime soon,” she concluded.
