KERRY Katona flaunted her washboard abs after adopting a new diet and fitness regime – leaving fans stunned.

The TV star, 42, beamed as she revealed her impressive weight loss, telling fans “the future looks bright.”

With her muscles, she flexes her top to show the results of her hard work.

“The future looks very bright and I will share more as we go,” she wrote in the caption.

“Swipe left to see the results are real – I took the photo myself.. no editing… just wait for 6,8,10 weeks when the makeover is well underway.”

She was praised by fans, with one saying: “You look amazingly well done.”

“There she is, @kerrykatona7 keep it up beautiful, you are doing absolutely amazing and the results look absolutely amazing,” added another.

Online fitness trainer FrancisDiet shared a before and after snap of Kerry, writing in the caption: “How’s @kerrykatona7? Well we’re on week 8.

“I will tell the dozens and dozens of DMs I got when this hit the news that she is one of the hardest working people I’ve met. That’s a fact

“If you follow her, you will have seen how busy she was in the theater, how she never slipped a second with @woo_dbyfood and she is never far away to ask and talk to.

“She did the stairs when she was crushed, she got on the treadmill to do life to her fans and drop motivation.”

The mother-of-five opened up about her weight loss in her New! magazine column recently: “‘I lost 8 pounds in a week and I’m back in my size 12 jeans! I feel amazing.”

Kerry said she weighed 13 stone when she first started her fitness journey.

In addition to weight loss, Kerry also turned her attention to her mental health and general well-being.

She is taking part in the upcoming E4 series The Big Celebrity Detox alongside Love Island’s Toby Aromolaran, Chloe Veitch and Princess Olga.

In a recent teaser for the show, Kerry was seen drinking her own URINE, which she described as “spicy”.

Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes, Kerry took a big gulp – leaving her fellow co-stars stunned by the amount she knocked back.

Homes Under The Hammer star Martin wasn’t quite as enthusiastic as Kerry as he prepared to drink his home brew.

“Oh ok, ermmm,” he said as he slowly cupped the glass bottle of urine to his lips.

He took a small sip before screwing his face up in disgust.

“It’s really, absolutely disgusting,” he said before setting it down on the floor – causing the rest of the group to giggle.

The group will be forced to endure a series of wild and crazy treatments with the aim of helping to improve their lifestyle and impact their everyday health and well-being.

As well as drinking her urine, Kerry was also asked to “spray it on herself”.
