Kate Middleton Introduces Another Ladylike Shirtdress to the Rotation
Kate Middleton loves a shirt dress, and it looks like she’s now added a green version of an old favorite to her vast collection of tee-length, A-line dress dresses. The Princess of Wales never strays too far from her own tried-and-true personal style, and tends to re-wear the same pieces over and over in a variety of color ways for years. The bright dress she wore on May 18 during a visit to the Anna Freud charity is a perfect example.

Like many of Kate’s favorite dresses, the emerald green “Flippy Wiggle” Dress by the brand Suzannah combines menswear-inspired details such as sharp lapels and a slim belt at the waist with more ladylike puffed sleeves and a flowing skirt. Also a trademark for the princess is the fact that she has worn a white version of the same piece on several occasions. Per Brit VogueKate wore the white Suzannah dress to Wimbeldon in 2019, and again to celebrate the King’s coronation in 2023. On this occasion, Kate paired the emerald dress with a pair of two-tone slingback Mary-Janes from Alessandra Rich and minimal accessories.
