DJ MOBY has revealed he hasn’t had sex since Barack Obama was US president.

And the 57-year-old said his old party self would look at his celibate self as a loser.

The musician, real name Richard Hall, said he was enjoying a wild lifestyle until 2008 – but that has all stopped now.

Moby, best known for the best-selling 1999 album Play, said in a newspaper interview: “Then I dated compulsively. Drink compulsively. Used drugs compulsively. Compulsively toured.

“The last time I had any kind of romantic life, Obama was president.”

Asked what his 2008 self would make of it, he said he would tell him: “You old loser. What is wrong with you? Haven’t had sex in seven years? Don’t you tour? Don’t you go to parties?

“What a sad old guy sitting on a park bench.”

In 2019, his ex-girlfriend Natalie Portman branded him “creepy” for dating her when she was just 18.

The couple dated briefly in 2001 when he was 33, and he was said to be “relieved” when she ended it because he had crippling anxiety.

But she shot back: “I was surprised that he characterized the very short time I knew him as dating because my memory is of a much older man who was creepy with me when I had just graduated high school.

“He said I was 20, I wasn’t. I just turned 18.

“That he used this story to sell his book was disturbing.”

She added of Moby, behind 1999 hit Porcelain: “We hung out a handful of times before I realized it was an older man who was interested in me in a way that felt inappropriate.”

Moby then issued a cringe-worthy apology to the actress, admitting Moby was wrong for including details of their apparent “relationship” in his book – titled Then It All Fell Apart – without her permission.

He also accepted that he “should have acted more responsibly and respectfully” when they first met in Austin, Texas, in 1999.
