Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade launched new hair care products from their brand Proudly in Los Angeles on Thursday. The couple arrived at the event, held at Babylist, donning coordinated colors.

Union wore a Lafayette 148 sleeveless dress, which featured a whimsical print in pastel blue, cream and green. Meanwhile, Wade paired an open-stitch knit varsity shirt with tan trousers.

The couple usually works with Thomas Christos Kikis, who has also styled looks for Zaya Wade.

Union and Wade launched Proudly, a baby care brand catering to babies with melanin-rich skin, in 2022. Proudly’s hair care offerings include a detangler, shampoo and other products targeted for textured and curly hair.

The couple, who share a four-year-old daughter Kaavia, talked with celebritiestalks in August about Proudly’s latest hair products. “Kaavia is very serious about her hair — to be able to try something new on her already is not easy in our household,” Wade told celebritiestalks. To that end, the range was formulated with the nuances of children’s still-developing curl patterns in mind, so that the products can “grow with your child,” Union added.

Union is fresh off New York Fashion Week, working with Kikis on her ensembles. To the Ralph Lauren spring 2024 ready-to-wear show, she wore a black one-shoulder dress with stripes and shimmer details, adding Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

In August, Union and Wade attended the 2023 Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremony, where he was the newest inductee. Wade wore a red double-breasted suit and Union wore a corset-inspired black dress with a sweetheart neckline, both by Versace.
