Next came a Bottega Veneta LBD, an ethereal lace dress by Rodarte, and a cornflower blue slip by Khaite – complete with a Princess Diana-esque neck scarf in the same shade. Those luxe sneakers from The Row resurfaced in the famous Hôtel Martinez lobby, with a striped shirt, wide leg pants (also The Row), and <a href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/Fashion/article/bottega-veneta-sardine-bag” target=”_blank”>Bottega Veneta’s cult sardine bag. After all the understated hemlines and relaxed shirtwork, Elle flipped the script again. “Now that’s a party dress,” Fanning wrote on Instagram of her bold silver Paco Rabanne dress, with a sculpted, barely-there bodice that just about preserved her modesty. (The exact fit eliminated the risk of wardrobe malfunctions.) The movie awards haven’t been handed out yet, but Elle deserves full marks for keeping Fashion fans guessing.
