An Ed Sheeran lookalike has been banned from TikTok for looking too much like the singer.
Ty Jones – or “Ned Sneeran” – said he always tells his 110,000 followers that he’s not the real Ed, and he can’t sing.

But the 28-year-old’s account was pulled over the weekend because TikTok believed he was impersonating the flame-haired star.
Ty insisted: “Obviously I’m a looker. I actually can’t sing.
“People always comment on my videos and say, ‘Oh my God, that’s Ed Sheeran.’
“I always repeat myself and say, ‘I’m not Ed.
“Sometimes I have it in bold. I feel it’s discrimination because I can’t change the way I look.
“Just because I look like Ed Sheeran does that mean I can’t make TikToks?”
The social media giant upheld the ban following an appeal from Ty, of Sale, Gtr Manchester.
The dad-of-one said: “I make videos of my life as an Ed lookalike.
“This is my full-time job. I was eager to promote what I do and market my business.
“Maybe TikTok should also ban Ed for impersonating me since we look alike.”
After reviewing his appeal, TikTok told Ty, “It has been determined that your account violated our community guidelines and cannot be repaired.”
However, it restored it after The Sun contacted it last night.
