David Beckham’s huge eight-figure mortgage for Miami penthouse revealed
DAVID Beckham has managed to secure a £10m mortgage for a penthouse in Miami, it has emerged.
The monthly repayments above £40,000 – with tax taking the total cost to £47,795.
Former England captain Becks, 48, bought the £17.15m block on the 59th floor of One Thousand Museum through his firm Beckham Brand Ltd when he founded Inter Miami football club.
It has Miami’s first private helipad, five bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies overlooking the ocean.
He and Victoria, 49, also have access to the tower’s double-level gym and spa, infinity pool and hair and beauty complex.
The home—which was bought three years ago and is now worth £22.6m—is just part of the couple’s £70m-plus international property portfolio.
It also includes a £31m London townhouse and a £6m Cotswolds mansion.
Paperwork revealed the Miami mortgage is among the top ten biggest celebrity home loans: Jay and Beyonce (£42.7m), Drake (£42.4m), The Weeknd (£43.9m) , Mark Wahlberg (£32.2), Angelina Jolie (£13.8m), J-Lo and Ben Affleck (£11.3m), the Beckhams (£10.18m), Johnny Depp (£8m ), Harry and Meghan (£7.69m), the Osbournes (£7.61m).
