Who is K-pop star G-Dragon?

G-Dragon is a K-pop star from the boy group Big Bang, one of the best-selling boy groups worldwide.

He has been referred to several times as the ‘King of K-pop’ and has worked both as a solo artist and band member.

G-Dragon has collaborated with the likes of Missy Elliot and Flo Rida, and at one point he even broke the record for the best-selling solo album in Korea.

In 2018, he began compulsory military service and was released after a year.

Shortly after leaving, he partnered with Nike and developed a reputation for working in Fashion as well as music, having worked with brands such as Chanel.

Who is Blackpink’s Jennie Kim?

Jennie Kim is a South Korean artist who is part of the K-pop group, BLACKPINK.

At the age of eight she moved to New Zealand to study.

When Kim moved back to South Korea, Kim auditioned for her agency, YG Entertainment, and became a trainee.

She met G-Dragon early in her career after being cast as the lead actress in one of his music videos.

Kim then joined the girl group BLACKPINK as a singer and released her first solo track in 2018.

The song, titled Solo, went on to be certified platinum for streaming by the KMCA, and western outlets also picked up the track on their charts.

A year later, Kim became the first Korean solo artist to perform at Coachella and received much praise.

She has previously said that her influences include Rihanna and Lauryn Hill.

Are G-Dragon and Jennie Kim dating?

According to Dispatch, a South Korean entertainment site, the two began dating in February 2021.

At the time, they were caught on “routine” secret dates at G-Dragon’s villa in Seoul.

Their label, YG Entertainment, is said to have known about the relationship, although they refused to comment or confirm.

Dispatch also claimed that Kim’s mother supported the relationship, but the pair went their separate ways in May 2022 after G-Dragon allegedly unfollowed Kim on Instagram.

Kim has since been linked to a new man. In 2023, rumors started swirling that the mysterious man might be BTS boy bander V.

On May 17, 2023, Jennie and V were photographed holding hands in Paris, but neither singer confirmed the reports.
